HOW SOUTH FLORIDA RIDERS BECAME THE EXLUSIVE CLUB FOR JET SKI ENTHUSIASTS
LET US TAKE YOU BACK TO WHERE WE STARTED
In 2007, a group of South Florida jet-ski enthusiasts met through Greenhulk.net, a popular online community. Juan Mallen and Tom Gregory soon organized a ride at the Islamorada sandbar near Holiday Isle, leading to the formation of the South Florida Riders Club. The club quickly grew, adopting a logo and organizing regular rides.
Since then, the South Florida Riders have journeyed across Florida and participated in national events like Mudbug in Louisiana, Aqua Races, and Hydrodrag racers. They frequently ride in Florida's beautiful waterways, including the Kissimmee, St. John’s, and Silver Springs rivers. Their adventures have also taken them to Georgia, Canada, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Bimini, with more destinations planned.
The club is known for its legendary events, such as BBQ cookouts, waterfront restaurant meetups, Bahamas cruises, Orlando park trips, and music concerts. With over 550 members, there’s always something exciting happening, ensuring there's always another ride or event around the corner.
